AASL Standards PD Share Site
Thank you for your interest in submitting your AASL Standards professional development!
Please use the webform below to tell us about you, your school library, and your professional development. If you are unable to complete the form in one session, please click “Save & Resume” and you will be given a link you can use to make edits and updates to your submission within 28 days. (To prepare your submission prior to entering it into the webform, the questions are available via a Microsoft Word doc.)
Along with your submission, you may also upload documents, images, and videos.
This site is intended to collect professional development programs, activities, workshops, etc. that you have done in your state, district, building, etc. on the AASL National School Library Standards.
Helpful Tips
- As you draft your submission, think of how you can make your presentation, activity, etc. “Substitute Ready.” Much like preparing for someone to cover a day that you are out of the library, what would a “substitute” presenter need to accomplish your professional development?
- Reflection is critical to any learning experience so please don’t skip the advice section. This should include those things you would have done differently and those that went exceedingly well.
- Attach it all! Include your agenda or timeline for the event/activity, script, handouts, evaluations, etc.
Our automated system will email you within 24 hours to confirm that your submission has been received. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please email your submission to us, including attachments, at aaslstandards@ala.org. Thank you!
Please Note: If your submission is chosen for publication, it will be publicly available on our website. If you have any questions, please contact us.
